Night of ongoing storms, not much sleep, woke up late. Got out of the house later than I like and headed south. The system seemed to have a lot of gumption to it and I knew just where the water would go.
Not disappointed. The formerly dry gullies with brown silty water. I parked the jeep, grabbed a camera and some rain protection and took off. Had some old chacos on so the wading was nice in the gentle almost soft water, warm and settling in some places. Not the most I have seen here but pretty good. Found some pretty rocks. The levels had fallen quickly but debris in some places was pretty impressive. Depending on what happens I know where I will be come the weekend.
