Following my sweaty hike on a humid morning on Siphon Draw, I kept watching the clouds building up in the North and East. These were high clouds with dark bottoms, high drama and perfect for photographing old buildings. Finally, when I could stand it no longer, I grabbed my camera gear and headed to the Goldfield Ghost Town, just outside Apache Junction an Hwy 88.

With temps hovering around the century mark, there weren't too many tourists wandering around to contaminate the scenery so I had the place all to myself. Had lots of fun, but in the end, I wish I had taken more photos while the timing was right.

On every trip into the Superstitions, I find another Gold Mine. Today the mine was filled with Memories. I can not wait for the next trip.
