Ridgeline.... fairly routed along a barbed wire fence... saw my buddy Goat Man Mike was the most recent entry at the HAZ summit register and before that, yours truly, HA!
On our water break at the summit, Route Scout went screwy on me (hence the two routes). Thank you Amy P. for fixing. This is the 2nd time in 4 hikes RS went bat pumpkin.
We took the NE Ridge down and low and behold encountered once again the bright orange flags meandering along the ridge. Feel like I'm stalking the orange flag guy (or gal). THe NE Ridge opens up nicely, like you feel your out on the flats, saw a big buck that our leed hiker Tyson Bagger chased after.
This route is definitely worthy of a return flight. |
