| no partners | | Trail Maintenance hike more then anything of the East Ridgeline Traverse from the mine along Senator Highway. I parked where Walker Road dead ends and makes a "V" at Senator Highway. This location is 0.7 miles from the house via Millsite Drive or 1.1 miles taking Walker Road to my private trail off my deck.
In the spirit of Chumley's excursion and discovering two summit registers on Doyle, this is another Mountain where the True Summit was not where the previous summit registers were formally located. The true summit is actually west from where everyone thinks it is, along the ridge line. I did not record on MayMyHike and used Route Scout which pumpkined me over. So I turned on MMH from summit back down to TH, imported it and then tried to clone the route to be roundtrip.
I had to hurry home, so I did not do my usual freestyle drop into the Hassayampa drainage with a pit at the Hassayampa Falls, or obligatory pumpking around the abandoned Senator Mill or dropping into the Senator Mine.
I think I have completely trailed up the route so that any idiot can do the summit up and back without getting lost. Out of bordom, been somewhat crafty with some of my ridgeline cairns. Some of these characters need names.
