After being harassed at the parking by a nearby homeowner the last time I was out here, I decided to try a different starting point. Turn right at the north end of the RV dealership at Circle Mountain Rd. I parked at the end of the road but you can get a bit closer parking at the end of Rivera Dr. At the end of Rivera Dr, there is a path that turns into a nice trail that takes you right to the Daisy Mountain trail.

Daisy Mountain has two peaks that are close to the same height. I really don't know which is taller, but at the first one (the south peak), I took the trail down the ridge to the SSE to find a geocache that I hadn't got around to finding in the close to six years it's been hidden. The trail goes down to an old road that you can take to Honda Bow Rd. The cache is hidden on the southern most peak at the end of the ridge so that's where I went.

After finding the cache, I headed back up Daisy Mtn. On the climb it became apparent to me that I haven't been hiking enough and my AEG has been sorely lacking. None the less, I summitted then continued the loop over to the north summit where I stopped for a few minutes to take some pictures (get my breath back).

Once rested, I continued the loop to the north down the mountain and back to the start. I passed an equestrian on the way down and also a couple of deer hunters at the north end of the loop where there's a trailhead/road.
