Parking lot was nearly full at 0800. Headed up Bursera, which had a pleasant breeze on the upper portions. Crossed paths with @trekkin_gecko and fletch near the western end of Bursera, near the wash.

East on National, where there was also a nice breeze higher up. Quick stop on Goat Hill due to all the gnats at the top. By then, the sun had come out a bit, but I think the heating actually churned up more clouds, because there were heavier clouds by the time I reached Pyramid.

Saw one more hiker on Pyramid, but that was it for the day. Light rain for about 20-25 minutes while I was descending the steepest part of Pyramid, then the showers moved off to the south while I finished up the last mile.

Lots of ants on the trails. Saw one hawk which posed for photos, and one patchnose snake that was camera shy. Nearly empty trailhead when I finished.
