Got a text from Kelly asking if I wanted to hike Mt Ord. Some cooler temps sounded very nice. We started up the old washed out road to the peak a little before sunrise.
There is a nice display of wild flowers showing now, about ten different kinds. Kelly spotted a tarantula who let us take his picture without distress.
Once we hiked above the burn, the scenery improved. Ord and the Mazzies are much greener than last year. We only saw four other hikers all day. Good hike. Thanks Kelly. :)
