Headed up Mt Ord with my friend, Jill, and her friend, Janelle. Cool temps to start, but felt great on the uphill. Definitely some erosion on the road, but overall still easy hiking. The eroded ravine a little over 2.50 miles was actually rather easy to cross. Some steps have been carved up and down both sides, but even better, it looked like someone used a dirt bike to carve a narrow ledge on the upper side of the ravine—very easy to simply walk across with no issue.

Had a snack break at the top until the cold breeze left us chilled. Still a patch of snow up top too. Easy hike back down, slightly warm at the finish. Saw two vehicles all day, no other hikers, three deer, one tarantula, and a lot of bear prints.
