| no partners | | The landscaper finally finished so I went and bought a shovel and an outdoor faucet bill handle, changed clothes and headed up for a quick hike. I've been stuck home during the last two and a half days while my yard was being re-landscaped.
I parked on the hill per usual and headed up the summit trail to the west crossover trail, circled the western humps counterclockwise and finished off the loop of Lookout Mountain. A few people out. I thot it was chilly and in fact, considered cutting it short, but I persevered for that last mile. I did my usual kicking off rocks.
As to the landscaping, what they did was good but I don't feel they did all that they promised and did stuff I kind of argued about. It was hard watching the boss work as I could tell his back hurt and I didn't like the way he talked to his assistant, a very nice but older man. Oh well. But now I have to take care of the rest of their work tomorrow.
WATCH: 4:05-5:12PM, 3.29 miles, 1485-1727 elevation. 137 avg bpm, 175 max (I was hiking faster to keep warm, ha!). 43% Zone 5 maximum, 46% zone 4 anaerobic, 9% zone 3 burning 479 calories. 62.5 temp (but felt cooler than that to me), fair (no sunglasses or hat for me ) 45% humidity. |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
