| no partners | | Out for some exercise. Parked at the bottom of the hill per usual. I had to go back and get my vest though, as with the wind, it was a tad nippy for Tibberlocks. Right out of the gate I saw a rabbit and a whole herd of doves. I started clockwise and from the southwestern saddle I circled the western humps counterclockwise. There were quite a few hikers out for a weekday afternoon.
The green seems thicker already but today, I was seeing it in full sunshine. It was so astounding really. I was surprised how less green there was on the western and south sides of the hike. Some bloomers makes me think, we could not only have a thick wildflower season but a long one.
Extended the hike to get a little extra mileage.

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
