| no partners | | Needed to get some exercise in-between continuing to work on trying to finish my photos/videos from this summer . It's a long process for me. I've got to figure out a way to do my editing while I'm traveling. I have my laptop with me. But then again, when I'm away, I keep pretty busy most days so don't have a lot of time to work on photos/videos.
Anyway, it was a chilly one out there. I wore my shorts and sleeveless top. My bottom half was fine but I was cold on top. I was also trying out my replacement shoes. They seem a little lose but the toe box is a much better fit. I'll have to try one more hike to see how they feel.
I started from the bottom of the hill and took it all the way up to the crossover trail making it a continuous up to start. I thot I was hiking it pretty fast but apparently not. I circled the western humps and then came down the middle section and back toward the TH parking. I circled back and as I made my way down I could hear the coyotes for a few minutes. Once I decided to record them, they went quiet. I looked toward where I thot I heard them to no avail.
It does appear there's been more trail work too. I only saw a few hikers but then again, this was a shortened jaunt as it was just to get the exercise. Obviously prefer it to walking the 'hood.

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
