Pat came down with the flu yesterday :stretch:

so I did the kindly thing and stuck around home just in case I was needed. Today finds her feeling better so I took the opportunity for a short hike in the Supes.

Drove to First Water TH and talked for a while with Lou from the Forest Service then slipped into my gear and headed down the trail around 0900. It was an absolutely perfect day to be out and although the parking lot was quickly filling up, I didn't meet another hiker on my way to Garden Valley. After a short tour of the garden area I was on my return via the same route but now the trails had hikers, horses and dogs all along the route

When I returned to the Trailhead, the parking lot was at capacity and cars were being directed to the horse trailer lot back down the road..... Another busy day at First Water

Some Brittlebush are blooming and a few Fairy Dusters lingering.

On every trip into the Superstitions, I find another Gold Mine. Today the mine was filled with Memories. I can not wait for the next trip.
