Nice weather today with breezes, not like the last few, so I headed for a quick tour of Garden Valley. Only three cars at the First Water TH as I signed in on the log at 0800 so it's another quiet day of hiking. Lots of birds singing and LOTS of gnats flying around getting into the eyes, ears and nose :gun:

still don't bite as bad as the Minnesota Deer Flys though :scared:

Walked around the "Valley" for a while then climbed on the rocks at the far end below Hackberry Mesa looking for more concentrations of pottery sherds but found nothing impressive so headed back the way I came. Ran into three hikers and a dog on my return then found Lou and Dean from the Forest Service cleaning the facilities. Got back home before lunch so I had plenty of time to prepare for a steak fry for tonight :y:

	Not a drop to be found.... nice crossing trail though thanks to AZ Conservation Volunteers clearing the rocks and trimming the brush.

On every trip into the Superstitions, I find another Gold Mine. Today the mine was filled with Memories. I can not wait for the next trip.
