Left the valley at 4am, and began hiking at 6:45. After some real struggles, finally reached the summit by around 11am. Almost turned around twice, but the summit was in view, and it seemed silly to give up. This mountain kicked my butt. I have been trapped in my house since the Mazzies trip in late March, so I was not really prepared for this. The elevation was the main issue, and I got back to the car with a massive headache, but well worth the effort.
