| no partners | | I'm reluctant to post about this hike because it's my "go to" fall hike and I almost want to keep it to myself! Which is of course why I took 25 people up there. I took my hiking group here again this year....and we saw maybe 6 other people. And it's a stunning fall hike! I've attached pictures, which show that the hike was just as colorful as last year.
I would say the foliage is turning just a bit later this year, perhaps because of the rain. Next week would still probably be very nice. There were a few more fallen trees...including a large one blocking the See Canyon trail right where See Spring Trail branches off from it. It's easy to walk around, but it was noticeably new to me this year. |

Autumn Foliage Observation Substantial Should still be nice for the upcoming week. Last year (2013) I would have said the last two weekends in October were good; this year I say the last in October and first in November. |
