Whitney and I wanted to get a longer desert hike in before it gets too warm, and I had already chosen this one for myself for today, so she decided to join me too. We started at 7:30, and were both actually cold at first. No complaints from either of us on that, since we knew we'd be hot later. Heard a lot of burros for the first mile or so, but never saw any--darn, maybe next time. Turned off toward the peak, and made our way up--running into 'hikerdw' and his family on their way down. We hung out at the top for a while, I left a new notebook and pen at the summit register, then headed back down. By then it was hot, but we completed the loop and got back to the car by 2:30. Fun day, and fun hike!
