I thought about this one on Halloween but decided to wait and hope for less trail traffic. This seemed to work but the backpackers were still exiting and I passed them on the way out. I took detour up a side canyon to revisit some limestone cliffs I saw on a previous trip. I had the cabin to myself and the temps were nice most of the hike. Some joker painted red arrows on the rocks along the trail. I'm not why they thought it was needed. The both springs were trickling and there was a fair amount of bear scat on the trail. No fires left burning this time but a tent and blanket were left behind at a new camping area. The hiking was good.
