Took a day to tour some of the mines near the Dutchman trail. We followed the old mine road toward Black Mesa. Looked at the Perlite Mine, then on to the P&G Mine. Next we hiked up on Black Mesa to high point 3097. on the way down, we visited a more recent prospect I first saw in 2015. Someone has been there since then. :-$ On the hike out we stopped by an old site near Parker pass just off the old trail alignment. It was a nice day, no snakes spotted but I did see a busy bee hive which we stayed away from.
