| no partners | | Decided to do a hike this AM since nothing was on the schedule except doing laundry.
Clockwise with a slight breeze. Saw a couple lizards and about ten hikers. A little warm on the south side. A few brittlebush are blooming and a lot of creosote blooming plus smells great! Saw one blooming hedgehog.
Could see dust in the air toward the distant views. Decided to hike down the hill below the trailhead lot and check out some roses at one of the 'hood houses; they smelled great. It's about the only flora we'll see this year it seems. Some fun cloud formations at the end of the hike.
WATCH: 2.84 miles. 133 avg bpm, 163 high. 32% max, 40% zone 4, 28% zone 3 burning 399 calories. 80.5 temp and 8% humidity at start, finishing at 11:03AM |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
