After doing Thompson Peak yesterday, I figured that a good encore would be Mount Ord.

It turned out to be a good day for it -- temperatures were below normal and there was very little sunshine. At times there was a nice breeze blowing which almost made it feel cool.

So far there is no further erosion on FR 27 from monsoons this summer. It remains to be seen if it stays that way.

There were some field bindweed and Arizona penstemon along the very upper part of FR 27. There were a few nice Indian paintbrush on FR 626 just above the FR 27 junction. There was one, and only one, flannelbush along FR 27. That was about it.
