I wanted to see how the leaves were starting to change colors. A cute, easy, little circular trail up to a small lake that circled around it and back down the other side. I got some great photos of yellow shades of the leaves/trees around the area and mountainside. The only sad part was a recently poached carcass of a moose at the side of the lake. Horrible sight. It was clearly a trophy kill. Hopefully the helicopter that was hovering near the mountain tops with a drone was hunting down the killer(s)?? Hope they were caught! |
