Took advantage of good early morning hiking conditions to explore the Sonoran Preserve area. I ended up doing a little of several trails instead of the complete Dixie Mountain Loop. Started at 6:20am, ended 8:45am. Similar to many other Preserve hikes in the Phoenix Mountains...the trail system allows you to pretty much create your own hike.

Good views of the W. Valley area, average number of hikers out early. Nothing outstanding about today's hike...no rattler excitement or coyotes. On the western part of the DM trail I could see large construction cranes just west of I-17 around where the 303 joins. Not sure if those might be for.
