As we were hiking I could hear a hummingbird and I knew it was close so I'm spinning around and there it was, about in my face. I think it was attracted to the color of my shirt. Greg had us hike all the way to the old dam/spillway so that was fun with some interesting trail. I think this Lake is so pretty, mostly because of the color in certain areas is that deep blue. There were quite a few hikers out, more than I thot we would see for a Thursday.
Thx Greg for driving and the hike and for the great lunch at Lucky's BBQ; it was excellent.

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
