| no partners | | Been under the weather for a few days. Terrible timing as a 3-nite trip to Joshua Tree National Park starts Monday. So after drinking a lot of water and sucking on lozenges, I finally felt well enough to shop yesterday and a hike this morning.
Trail was pretty crowded as I stepped aside a lot which I prefer to do when it's just me, it's just easier for everyone. Brittlebush is already starting to fade. Only a few hedgehogs are blooming. Saw a couple lizards. Toward the end I recorded some bird conversations but I couldn't nab a picture of the bird. There are a couple households who have been planting cactus and have put sticks around them.

Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
