With more scorching temperatures forecasted for the weekend, I headed out to SoMo for another morning hike--the third week in a row. I had the day off from work, but I got up early and started around 5AM. I've been hiking on Friday mornings recently, and there were a few more bikers and hikers on the trails than I expected for mid-week, but others probably had the day off, too.

There wasn't anything particularly noteworthy about this one...a clear, subtle sunrise and typical warm morning temperatures. I heard a coyote calling but didn't see it, and other than that, no interesting wildlife. I turned around at Dobbins Lookout again--pretty quiet up there--and was done a little before 8:30AM.
