A quick out and back up near the Miners Needle and Coffee Flat Trail.

The was 1 other truck in the parking lot when I arrived and set off. It had rained pretty good over the night, the trail was wet and there were some puddles in the low area. I am loving how green everything was for September.

The Dutchman is a nice trail through Barkley basin. I arrived early, hoping for a sunrise over Cathedral Rocks. There was lots of lightning off in the distance when I first turned on to Peralta Rd. But, the clouds were too low and blocked the sunrise all together.

I hiked up a ways towards the Miners Needles saddle and then decided to head back down and go down Coffee Flats for a while. The humidity was pretty high, the weather was perfect. A nice and easy stroll in the Supes.

An excellent way to spend a Sunday morning.
