Day trip to Prescott Valley to visit an old Marine Corps buddy from back in the day. I decided to get a hike in beforehand.

Great trail. A burn area at the bottom leaves you exposed to the sun for half a mile but you’re in the shade most of the rest of the way.

When I reached the top of the ravine, I angled right to pick up a motorcycle trail then followed that to the top of a hill for some views.

Beautiful trail. Nice out but a tad hazy. Saw two people at the start and a couple more at the finish.
