Workout hike. Hiked to the top where I took a short break, then back down to the Circumference Trail before returning to the top. After another short break, I was going to take some pictures when I was hit with a zinger of a sting on my right temple from a large horsefly. I’ve been very calm the last two months but I erupted after that fly bit me. Fortunately there was no one around to see me flailing around after that fly, which conveniently flew away to the east.

7:15 start but it was still cool with a SE breeze keeping it that way. Not as many people out on this holiday weekend.

Gorgeous morning. Great workout.
