Started 7AMish, about 86ish. 99% on hellos. One gal put up her mask both times.
The breeze made this counter-clockwise hike a pleasant journey. I did the shaded western side twice before continuing to finish the loop. No rabbits. Lots of birds and a few lizards. About two dozen hikers, a few dogs including a little husky dog that I stopped to pet (this is a rare occurrence for me).
With the breeze today, I could have done the longer hike at Phoenix Sonoran Preserve, oh well.
I've posted some pics from FB of fire action and our own Paul Hubbard posted a couple very cool videos. I don't know if you can access them as a non FB member. They are ash winddevils.

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
