| no partners | | Alexa: 85/35 okay, I guess that will do. Seemed warm when I got out of Tonto 3. Had a tad of a breeze at first. Went clockwise. Whiptail Snake slithered right across the trail, almost stepped on it. Managed to get a couple pics with phone.
I felt slow but did under 20 min in first mile. Surprisingly quads were sore from yesterday's class; wonder what exercise caused that unusual soreness. Decided to do a double of the top tier of Apache Vista.
Saw two squirrels, several lizards, five bike riders, 8 hikers. Little Sulphur Butterflies are bigger this week. Too flighty to get pics.
They say the humidity is dropping now; makes a big difference for me.
WATCH: 3.36 miles, 2052 feet. 127 avg bpm, max 148 (9% at max Zone 5, 50 % Zone 4, 38% Zone 3) burning 419 calories. Starting temp 84.1 and 32% humidity finishing at 8:55AM. Temp at finish Village at Grovers was 91 but I think it runs a couple degrees warmer, Humidity 25%. |

Wildflowers Observation None Desert Senna blooming nicely. |

For me, sometimes it's just as much about the journey as the destination.
Oh, and once in awhile, don't forget to look back at the trail you've traveled. |
