| no partners | | Had hoped to do Ridgeback first but it was too humid so I hiked north toward the Sidewinder and west to the Ridgeback connector and then back to Apache Wash and up the Sidewinder to Apache Vista, finishing clockwise at the TH. There was a little breeze depending when I hiked east or south. Saw about 1/2 dozen hikers, two bike riders and at least a dozen lizards, one rabbit. Ocotillos are bulky with green leaves and most of the bushery is very green as well. Trails were in good shape and it looks like they've been brushed in certain areas.
Best of all, after the hike, I got to drink my Huck IT beer (Big Sky Brewing out of Bozeman) [ photo ] and it is so good, much better than my old standby, Wild Huckleberry Lager.
First time I've used the Auto Link on HAZ, pretty cool!
