| partners | | Chris invited me on this quick Christmas Eve hike along a couple trails at the Lower Salt River.
I've done the Coon Bluff Loop several times, but not the Salt River Trail which is a mostly flat trail that skirts Coon Bluff and then heads across the open desert towards Salt River Recreation.
A little chilly at the start, but once the sun came out, it was very pleasant.
An easy day out in the desert, with a flat out and back and then the up and down you get going on the Coon Bluffs.
On the trail heading back to the TH, we ran into the @cannondalekid who was biking the same trail going the opposite direction. It was a pleasure to meet you!
A nice way to spend Christmas Eve morning, out in the desert, getting a little exercise and breathing in that fresh air. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all! |
