I have not been out to Butch Jones Trail in a while and I thought it would be a good sunset hike. The weather was perfect for hiking. My #2 son and I started out and hiked a little past the western section. We would have missed the sunset if we went all the way to the cove side, so we turned around.

The sunset was nice, but it looks like the color show was further east. Still a great way to spend the late afternoon.

We made it back to the parking area just as it got dark.

Quick, easy, scenic, plus I get to spend some time with my #2 son who is normally in Washington State.
