| no partners | | I wanted to get out and stretch my legs a bit today and decided to do this hike. It is not the most exciting hike in the world, but it is close to home and is a good workout.
There was some nice cloud cover for the first 6-7 miles, but then the sun came out. Thankfully later in the afternoon there was some shade on the east side of some hills.
There weren't many people out on the hike, so I mostly had the trails to myself. |

Wildflowers Observation Isolated A few chuparosa were blooming, but that was it for any flowers. There were some very healthy looking brittlebush and ocotillo, which generates optimism for a nice spring wildflower season! |
