For some odd reason we both felt the need to walk uphill in loose sand and gravel this morning so we headed on over to Camp Creek Falls. Cathy hadn't been here in a couple of years and wanted to see if the falls were running after the recent rains.

We were the only car at the TH and had the falls to ourselves the entire time. They weren't gushing but any water is better than no water. Only on the way back out did we run into a couple of people just starting the trip down.

The entire look and nature of both Blue Wash and Camp Creek in particular was drastically changed from previous visits. Flash flooding of epic proportions was evident and the landscape was quite different.
Plant life was lush and the cool, moist, morning air and breeze was so refreshing we didn't want to leave. :)
