clockwise. Seemed to be lots of family bonding today; nice to see. Dog poo, on the other hand, is not. I've been seeing more of it lately. I do wish dog owners would at least have the common decency to kick or get it off the trail. Saw a couple father, daughters going up the Peak as I was coming down and father, sons groups on the Valle Verde Trail. So nice!

Decided to take Desert Tortoise Trail back rather than finish on the loop as it adds an easy extra mile. Ended the hike listening to the ice cream truck music. I, however, was looking forward to this great beer I had picked up; it was worth the hike :) .
