Rock Corral Spring
Hit this area twice in two days. Both days were scouting missions for near future hikes.
Parked near the first campsite and followed a faint road I had never noticed before and then headed to the rock cistern by the pump.
Someone has brush hogged the road to the corral. I thought it ended here but it continued up the road behind the cistern.
It was too hot by 10 am to finish the road so we turned back.

Later that day….
The car broke down in Tucson so while the ladies went to a movie I walked to Auto Zone for a replacement part. 1.53 miles one way. Luckily it was as the sun was setting. 3 miles round trip for a total of over 5 miles that day.
It got us home and then died Monday and had to be towed.

I'm including miles from both jaunts just because
